What happens to my data during the migration?
You generate an API token in your own Foodics console and paste it into WDPW. We use it to read your menu, customers, modifiers, and inventory — your data stays in Foodics until you cut over. No scraping.
Can we run both systems in parallel?
Yes, and we recommend it. We help you reconcile both during a 2-week parallel period.
What if we're locked in a Foodics contract?
We pay up to EGP 5,000 of your remaining contract — and bridge the rest of the period with free WDPW service.
Do we need to buy new hardware?
No. WDPW runs on any iPad or Android tablet. Use what you already own.
How long does migration actually take?
End-to-end, including parallel testing: 14 days. Active engineering work: about 24 hours.
What about Foodics Pay / online payment?
Online card payments are live today: customers pay by card or Apple Pay through Paymob on QR and kiosk orders, and each branch connects its own Paymob account. In-person payments run as cash or your existing bank terminal.
